Role & responsibilities
Cost Analysis & Reporting: Developing and maintaining standard costs, analyzing raw materials, labor, and overhead costs, and preparing monthly reports
Variance Analysis: Investigating discrepancies between actual and budgeted production costs to identify inefficiencies.
Inventory Control: Monitoring inventory levels, reconciling physical inventory, and managing inventory reserves.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting in creating annual budgets and forecasting fixed/variable expenses.
Process Improvement: Partnering with operational teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.
Assist in statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and resolving audit queries.

Preferred candidate profile




Technical know-how in MS Office Suite, VB, Power tools / Work experience in S4 Hana is essential,
Familiarity in cost accounting, cost audit & reporting tools is preferred and basic understanding of accounting standards and taxation rules.
Preferably from the Printing & Packaging or manufacturing industry.
Solid foundational knowledge in accounting principles and journal entries
Positive working knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST
Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Valuable analytical and numerical skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues appropriately
Strong team collaboration and communication skills
Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet deadlines
Ethical conduct and data confidentiality
