We are seeking a skilled PHP / Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate will work on existing PHP-based systems while also developing new features and services using Python. This role involves API development, system integration, and performance optimization in a team-oriented workplace.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP and Python
Enhance and refactor existing Core PHP / Laravel applications
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
Develop backend services using Python (Flask / FastAPI / Django)
Integrate third-party APIs and internal services
Work with databases for data modeling, queries, and optimization
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams
Ensure application security, scalability, and performance
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Required Skills
Robust experience in PHP (Core PHP / Laravel)
Strong experience in Python
Experience building REST APIs
Good understanding of OOP & MVC architecture
Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL
Familiarity with Git / version control
Knowledge of Linux server environments
Understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization
Good to Have (Preferred Skills)
Experience with FastAPI / Flask / Django
Knowledge of Microservices architecture
Exposure to AI/ML integrations or data processing
Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
Familiarity with Message Queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)
