Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Indian Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting, finance, taxation, and compliance activities for our Indian operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Tally, Indian taxation (GST, TDS), and financial compliance as per Indian laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations in Tally/zoho including journal entries, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and vendor payments.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants for statutory audits, income tax filings, and ROC filings.
- Maintain and organize financial records for regulatory compliance.
- Manage payroll processing, PF, ESI,



and other employee-related statutory deductions.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the Indian entity.
- Stay up to date with changes in Indian financial and tax regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA Inter, MBA Finance is a plus).
- 3-5+ years of experience in Indian accounting and compliance roles.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting principles.
- Solid understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other Indian statutory requirements.
- Familiarity with ROC filings, MCA compliance, and statutory audits.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills for working with external consultants and internal teams.
