We are Currently hiring for the role of a Lab Chemist with a Leading firm based in Mumbai.

Location: Ghatkopar, Mumbai

Position: Lab Chemist

Experience: 10 Years

Salary: Up to ₹8lpa–10 LPA

Working Days: Monday to Friday (2 Saturdays Working)

Weekly Off: Sunday Fixed

Working Hours: 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct laboratory trials and experiments related to dyes, pigments &colour; matching.
- Develop and match colours as per customer and production requirements.
- Handle colour matching, shade development and correction.
- Conduct trials for paper dyeing and textile dyeing applications.
- Understand and work with different types of dyes, pigments and colour chemicals.
- Perform laboratory testing and evaluate colour strength, shade and quality.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for successful colour development and scale-up.
- Troubleshoot colour/shade-related issues during production.
- Maintain laboratory records, test reports and documentation.
- Ensure consistency and quality of developed shades.
- Stay updated with new dyes, pigments, colourants and application techniques.




- Test the pre shipment samples and also the lot samples
- MIS- sample records, test reports’ record, quality report/data,
- Making COA
- Making / reviewing MSDS
- Making Reviewing TDS

Required Skills & Experience

- 10 years of relevant experience as a Lab Chemist in the dyes, pigments or colourant industry.
- Strong understanding of Dyes & Pigments.
- Hands-on experience in Textile Dyeing and/or Paper Dyeing.
- Strong knowledge of colour matching, shade development and colour correction.
- Valuable understanding of colour chemistry and applications.
- Experience in laboratory trials, testing and product development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates from Dyes & Pigments / Colourants / Textile Chemicals / Paper Chemicals industries will be preferred.
