How does Journee work?

Our explorers fill in our 10-minute questionnaire to build their travel personality. It includes budget, dates, where they don't want to go, and most importantly, the things they like to do when they travel. We then match them with an experiential trip to an interesting destination. We book everything and send fun clues to keep them guessing. They turn up to the airport X days later and reveal where they’re going!

We’re looking for travel-loving people with great attention to detail and high ownership to help us deliver an amazing experience to our users.

If you have a strong sense of ownership, are known for your attention to detail, and have the hustle to get things done, this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing in this role

- Book flights and check explorers in for their flights in line with provided instructions
- Research and book accommodation in each destination, ensuring it meets Journee’s quality standards
- Proactively manage cancellations and date changes
- Finalise the itinerary once all components are booked
- Book bus, train, and other ground transport for our explorers
- Book experiences and activities with experience providers
- Handle flight price increases and premium upgrade requests
- Handle on-tour explorer requests and ensure timely resolution
- Negotiate rates and availability with experience providers on behalf of Journee




- Find alternative experience providers when original plans are no longer viable

What we are looking for

- Bachelor's degree
- High attention to detail and low tolerance for mistakes
- Extremely organised, structured and deadline-driven
- Able to follow processes accurately and on time (finding ways to improve them is a bonus)
- Strong written English and overall communication skills
- Prior experience in travel a bonus (but not essential)
- Prior experience in customer service a bonus (but not essential)
- Prior experience handling large sums of customer money a bonus (but not essential)
- You will need to have a reliable, high-speed internet and laptop access at all times
- PLUS, as this is a WFH role, (anything else that you may need in order to be productive)

What we’ll offer

- A travel reimbursement benefit of ₹15,000 upon successful completion of one year of service
- Salary of ₹32,000 to ₹40,000 per month, depending on experience
