Job Description – GCP Developer / Cloud Data Engineer- (ONLY DIVERSITY- F.E.M.A.L.E)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on GCP Developer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform, Data Engineering, Python and Terraform. The candidate should have practical coding experience and should be actively involved in development, building data pipelines, cloud solutions and integrations. We are specifically looking for candidates who are currently hands-on with coding rather than purely managing teams or handling architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain data pipelines using GCP services such as Cloud Composer (Airflow), Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
- Write and maintain code using Python for data processing, automation and application integrations.
- Work on BigQuery, including SQL development, data modelling, query optimization and performance tuning.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, following reusable modules and automation practices.
- Work on GKE and Cloud Run for deploying, managing and scaling applications.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, GitOps and automated testing for cloud-based applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud applications and data pipelines using Google Cloud Monitoring and Logging.
- Ensure cloud platforms are secure, scalable, reliable and cost-effective.




- Work closely with engineering, data and architecture teams to deliver technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Strong hands-on development experience on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Good coding experience in Python.
- Hands-on experience with GCP services – BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer and Cloud Storage.
- Robust SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation.
- Experience with GKE, Kubernetes and Cloud Run.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, DevOps and automation.
- Experience with cloud monitoring, logging and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments; financial services experience would be an added advantage.
- GCP Professional Cloud Engineer certification is preferred.

Important Screening Criteria:

- Candidates must have strong hands-on GCP development experience.
- Must be actively involved in coding using Python.
- Should have experience building and maintaining GCP-based data pipelines.
- Avoid profiles that are purely into cloud architecture, infrastructure management or team management without recent coding experience.
