Core activities include third-party technical vessel management, offshore vessel chartering, tanker and dry bulk broking, sale and purchase of vessels, and a wide range of marine survey services. The company also offers technical consultancy, covering new building supervision, major repairs and dry-docking, offshore conversions, and modifications to existing ships.

Role Description The Senior Tanker Broker will manage and grow a portfolio of tanker chartering business, acting as a key liaison between vessel owners and charterers. Responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating tanker employment opportunities, negotiating charter party terms, fixing voyages and time charters, and monitoring market trends to provide up-to-date commercial advice. The role involves daily communication with local & international clients, preparation of market reports, maintenance of internal databases,



and close coordination with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of fixtures. The Senior Tanker Broker will also support business development by identifying new clients and routes, strengthening existing relationships, and contributing to strategic commercial decisions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in India.

Qualifications

- Strong tanker broking and chartering experience, with a proven track record in spot and time charter markets.
- Solid commercial and negotiation skills, including charter party drafting, risk assessment, and deal closing.
- Knowledge of tanker operations, vessel types, marine regulations, and industry standards relevant to crude and product tankers.
- Proficiency in market analysis and research, including freight assessment, route economics, and competitor benchmarking.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities for collaborating with owners, charterers, and internal stakeholders.
- Comfort with relevant digital tools and brokerage platforms.
- Minimum 6–7 years of experience in tanker broking or closely related shipping commercial roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Business, or a related field; skilled maritime or chartering certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make informed decisions under time pressure, and uphold high ethical and compliance standards.
- Fluency in English.
