About the Role

ADPL is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer with a strong understanding of fashion trends, fabric development, prints, embroidery, and surface ornamentation. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating cutting-edge textile designs for women's ethnic and contemporary wear.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop unique textile prints, patterns, motifs, and embroidery designs.
- Research upcoming fashion trends, colours, fabrics, and seasonal collections.
- Create digital textile designs, repeat patterns, and print layouts.
- Collaborate with design, sampling, and production teams to develop new collections.
- Develop mood boards, colour palettes, and textile concepts.
- Coordinate with vendors for fabric sourcing, printing, embroidery, and sampling.
- Ensure designs are commercially viable and aligned with brand aesthetics.
- Oversee sample development and maintain design quality standards.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and textile design software.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, printing techniques, embroidery, and surface embellishments.
- Knowledge of Indian ethnic wear and contemporary fashion trends.
- Ability to develop original prints and production-ready design files.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted design tools will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in women's ethnic wear, particularly suit sets, kurtas, and co-ord sets.
- Knowledge of digital printing, traditional prints, and embroidery development.
- Ability to convert creative concepts into production-ready textile designs.
- Strong portfolio showcasing original textile design projects.
