Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced TIBCO Spotfire Architect to design, implement, administer, and optimize enterprise-level Spotfire platforms. The candidate should have strong expertise in Spotfire architecture, server administration, performance tuning, security, data integration, and platform scalability. Experience supporting pharmaceutical analytics and clinical trial data solutions is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure TIBCO Spotfire architecture for enterprise analytics.
- Manage Spotfire Server, Node Managers, Web Services, Automation Services, and TERR services.
- Handle platform installation, upgrades, hotfixes, configuration, deployment, and environment maintenance.
- Configure authentication, LDAP integration, user and group management, permissions, licenses, and security policies.
- Implement load balancing, routing, resource pools, scheduled updates, and automation workflows.
- Monitor server performance, CPU, memory, network utilization, logs, and system health; troubleshoot bottlenecks and optimize performance.
- Manage Spotfire Information Designer, Information Links, library objects, data connections, and deployment packages.
- Design data integration solutions connecting Spotfire with relational databases, cloud storage, and big data platforms.
- Develop and maintain Spotfire APIs and integrations using Java, REST/SOAP services, Python, and IronPython as required.
- Provide architectural guidance for dashboard development, custom visualizations, and analytical applications.
- Support data processing and statistical analytics using Python, R/TERR, SQL, and JavaScript.




- Collaborate with data engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver enterprise analytics solutions.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with TIBCO Spotfire architecture and administration.
- Expertise in Spotfire Server, Node Managers, Automation Services, Web Services, and TERR services.
- Experience with installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, deployment, and environment management.
- Knowledge of authentication, LDAP, access controls, licensing, and security configuration.
- Experience with load balancing, routing, resource pools, server monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with enterprise data integration.
- Knowledge of Spotfire APIs, Information Designer, Information Links, and library management.
- Experience with scripting and customization using Python, IronPython, and R/TERR.

Preferred Skills

- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences experience.
- Clinical trial analytics, patient profiling, SAS, and EDC systems such as Medidata Rave.
- Integration with Databricks, Apache Spark, Hadoop/Hive, AWS S3, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Splunk and Current Relic.
- Knowledge of Java, REST/SOAP APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with enterprise-scale analytics deployments and platform migrations.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should have strong architectural ownership of the TIBCO Spotfire platform, including infrastructure, administration, security, scalability, integrations, and performance optimization. Pharma or clinical analytics experience will be an added advantage.
