- Serve as the single point of contact between the Onsite PM and the offshore team: cascade priorities, decisions and CCBJI feedback; escalate offshore risks, issues and blockers to the Onsite PM
- Run daily offshore stand-ups and a regular sync with the Onsite PM across time zones (ISTJST)
- Plan, allocate and track offshore work across waves; manage offshore capacity, backlog and sprint progress in Jira
- Maintain the offshore plan, milestone tracker, RAID entries, action logs and access tracker, and feed them into the Onsite PM's program plan
- Prepare offshore weekly status reports and provide offshore inputs to fortnightly reviews and SteerCo packs (owned by the Onsite PM)
- Track offshore resource onboarding, access provisioning and workplace readiness (Week 0 entry gate)
- Monitor offshore delivery quality against gate criteria; coordinate defect triage, reconciliation and KT readiness
- Log offshore CRs and support the Onsite PM's impact assessment; keep meeting minutes, sign-off records and KT completion records for offshore deliverables
- Work with translators to publish offshore reports in English and Japanese
- Manage offshore team onboarding, ramp-up/ramp-down, backfills and performance
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
- Proven management of offshore delivery teams on SAP / data-platform migration programs
- Fixed-bid and Agile/wave-based delivery with Atlassian Jira/Confluence
- Strong communication with onsite and client stakeholders across time zones
- RAID management, status reporting; advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with Japanese clients; Japanese language basics
- SAP BW/HANA to Azure/Fabric migration exposure
- PMP / PRINCE2 / CSM certification
- Power BI for delivery dashboards
