Role Description The System Manager is a full-time role responsible for overseeing the reliability, security, and performance of the firm’s IT systems and infrastructure. This hybrid position is based in Mumbai, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility, depending on business needs.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing system administration tasks, monitoring servers and networks, coordinating software and hardware maintenance, and ensuring data backup and recovery processes are in place.

The System





Manager will provide technical support to internal users, troubleshoot system issues, and collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve incidents promptly. The role also involves implementing IT policies, supporting technology upgrades, contributing to cybersecurity measures, and preparing documentation and reports to support governance and audit requirements.

Qualifications

- System Administration and Information Technology skills to manage servers, networks, user accounts, and core infrastructure.
- Analytical Skills to assess system performance, interpret logs, and support data-driven decisions.
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and assist internal users efficiently.
- Experience with security best practices, backup and recovery, and basic networking concepts.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Mumbai, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Strong documentation and communication skills, with attention to detail and adherence to governance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, networking) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a financial services or regulated industry workplace is beneficial.
