Food Production Machine & Plant Operator Employment Type: Permanent Industry: Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor machinery and production equipment used in food manufacturing.
• Set up, adjust, operate, and change over production machines.
• Monitor production processes and identify and resolve basic machine or process faults.
• Work on process, filling, and packaging production lines as required.
• Perform and support quality checks during production.
• Record and maintain production-related data and documentation.
• Follow food hygiene, quality, and food-safety standards, including HACCP requirements.
• Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and assigned work areas.
• Ensure secure, efficient, reliable, and quality-focused production operations. Requirements




• Completed vocational training in one of the following:
• Machine and Plant Operator with specialisation in Food Production
• Food Technician / Food Technology Specialist
• Comparable technical or vocational qualification
• Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience directly in food production – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience operating production machinery and automated equipment.
• Experience with food processing, filling, or packaging lines is preferred.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and quality standards.
• Knowledge of HACCP is an advantage.
• Reliable, responsible, and quality-oriented approach to work.
