The Role

You’ll own product quality and compliance across the supplier base, from the first sample to the shipment that reaches the customer. Your job is to make sure every SKU that launches meets the brand’s standards for safety, durability and finish, consistently and at scale.

What You’ll Do

- Qualify, audit and onboard recent suppliers and manufacturers (domestic and import), including white-label partners for new categories

- Set quality specs, AQLs and inspection protocols for each category: stainless steel, plastics and silicone, textiles and bags

- Run pre-production, in-line and pre-shipment inspections, and sign off golden samples, either directly or through a team or agency

- Manage food-contact, material and child-safety compliance (BIS, FDA/LFGB, BPA-free, lead and phthalate testing) with accredited labs

- Track defect rates, returns and customer complaints,



run root-cause analysis and drive CAPAs with suppliers

- Build supplier scorecards and run regular performance reviews

- Work with Design, New Launch and Ops so products can be manufactured as designed and launches go out on time

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in supplier quality or product manufacturing at a consumer products company, in India or abroad
- A sheet metal or plastics background is strongly preferred

- Candidates from consumer durables, appliances or auto companies are also welcome

- Hands-on experience with supplier audits, inspections, AQL and CAPA

- Knowledge of product safety and compliance standards (BIS, FDA, LFGB) is a plus
