Role & responsibilities

As a Store Manager the responsibility is to oversee the end-to-end mobilization of inventory from the arrival of incoming material, spare parts, etc. to issuing the material for production as per BOM and production/maintenance requirements. Goal is to build a "lean" store workplace where high-value EV components are handled with precision and issues are executed efficiently

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. Inventory Mobilization: Design and implement a robust tracking system for heavy equipment parts, ensuring "Just-in-Time" (JIT) delivery to the assembly line to prevent production bottlenecks.
2. High-Value Asset Control: Manage the secure storage and handling of sensitive electric vehicle components, including PMSM motors, high-voltage battery packs, etc.
3. Logistics Coordination: Spearhead external logistics by managing relationships with 3PL partners and local transporters to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement.
4. Stock Governance: Lead regular cycle counting and annual audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
5. Inbound Management:



Oversee the inspection and documentation of incoming materials, verifying quality certificates for both imported kits and locally sourced components.
6. ERP Excellence: Master the store's ERP systems for real-time GRN management, reporting of stock levels and issuances for costing accuracy.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Educational Background: Graduate in Engineering, Material Management, or Supply Chain/Logistics.
2. 10+ Years Experience: Proven track record in store management within the construction equipment, heavy engineering, or automotive sectors.
3. Parts Knowledge: Deep familiarity with heavy machinery components (chassis, hydraulics, structural steel) and an understanding of modern electro-mechanical parts.
4. Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of SAP-WM or similar ERP platforms, including master data management and automated stock reconciliation.
