We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store In-Charge to independently manage store operations at our quarry site, ensuring proper inventory control, material management, documentation, and coordination with site and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage complete store operations at the quarry site.

- Maintain accurate stock registers, inventory records and material ledgers.

- Verify quantities and quality of materials received against purchase orders and delivery challans.

- Maintain proper inward and outward material records.

- Issue materials only against authorised material requisitions.

- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and prevent material shortages.

- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

- Maintain records of diesel, lubricants, spare parts, tools, machinery components and consumables.

- Coordinate with purchase, accounts and site departments for material requirements.

- Track material consumption and identify wastage or excess usage.

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly stock reports.

- Ensure proper storage, handling and security of materials.

- Maintain supporting documents, invoices, GRNs, delivery challans and issue slips.

Essential Requirements:





- 35 years of proven experience as a Store In-Charge / Store Keeper in construction, quarry, mining or infrastructure projects.

- Strong practical knowledge of inventory management and stock control.

- HR experience is also preferred.

- Hands-on experience in maintaining stock registers, material ledgers and inward/outward registers.

- Positive knowledge of construction materials, machinery spare parts, diesel, lubricants and consumables.

- Ability to verify material quantities against purchase orders and delivery challans.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, inventory records and basic computer operations.

- Experience in preparing stock statements, consumption reports and reconciliation statements.

- Ability to independently manage site stores and maintain proper documentation.

- Strong coordination, communication and organisational skills.

- High level of responsibility, honesty and accountability in material handling.

Preferred Candidates:

- Candidates with prior experience in quarry operations, crusher plants, mining or heavy equipment projects.

- Knowledge of ERP or inventory management software.
