Responsibilities

- Generate leads through direct prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, online research, partnerships and other relevant channels.

- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently work towards achieving business development targets.

- Work closely with technical teams to understand solution feasibility and prepare suitable proposals.

- Own the business development cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal, negotiation and closure.

- Prepare and coordinate quotations, proposals, presentations and customer-facing documents.

- Track industry trends, customer requirements, competitor activity and emerging opportunities in safety and connected infrastructure.

- Build, mentor and manage the business development team, including hiring,



training, target setting and performance management.

Requirements

- 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales or Solution Sales, preferably in safety, security, IoT, electrical, automation, infrastructure, facility management or a related industry.

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline; MBA/PG qualification will be an advantage.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently, take ownership and operate in a target-driven, fast-paced workplace.

- Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits and business development activities as required.
