Role Description The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and supporting revenue growth in the ocean engineering, infrastructure, and clean energy domains. Day-to-day tasks include researching potential markets, preparing proposals, coordinating client meetings, and collaborating with technical and finance teams to develop competitive offerings. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, maintaining accurate records of leads and opportunities,



and providing regular business performance reports to leadership.

The Business Development

Officer will also support customer service activities, ensure timely follow-up, and represent the company at meetings, presentations, and relevant industry events. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Edappadi.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong New Business Development skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and relationship-building.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge to interpret data, support pricing decisions, and assess business viability.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication abilities, including explicit written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Candidates should possess a customer-focused mindset and Customer Service skills to manage client inquiries, feedback, and ongoing relationships.
- Relevant experience in engineering, infrastructure, marine, or clean energy sectors is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with productivity and CRM tools, along with strong organizational and time-management skills, is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment is key.
