Database Administrator (Oracle & SQL Server)

Location :- Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune / Mumbai

Your Role

As a Senior Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, securing, and supporting enterprise database environments across Oracle and SQL Server platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring database availability, performance, backup and recovery readiness, cloud integration, security compliance, and operational excellence within large-scale enterprise ecosystems.

In this role, you will:

- Administer and maintain mission-critical Oracle Database 19c+ and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Manage high-availability solutions including Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
- Perform database backup, recovery,



and disaster recovery operations using RMAN, Veeam, and Commvault.
- Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks using AWR, ADDM, SQL Tuning, and Resource Management techniques.
- Support database workloads hosted on Microsoft Azure.
- Manage Azure storage solutions including Ultra Disk and Premium SSD v2 for database platforms.
- Implement database security controls including Oracle Wallets, TDE (Transparent Data Encryption), and access management.
- Support and maintain enterprise security tools such as Imperva Database Security.
- Configure and manage monitoring solutions using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and automated health-check frameworks.
- Develop automation scripts using SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell Scripting.

Your Profile

- 6+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database 19c+ Administration.
- Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard environments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
- Hands-on experience with backup and recovery technologies including RMAN, Veeam, and Commvault.
- Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience supporting database workloads in Microsoft Azure.




- Expertise in database security, encryption, and access management.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise databases.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Perform performance diagnostics and optimization activities.
- Administer HA/DR solutions including RAC and Data Guard.
- Enhance security posture through encryption and access controls.
- Automate routine DBA activities through scripting.
- Monitor database health and proactively address issues.
- Support cloud migration and Azure database modernization initiatives.
