To ensure continuous, reliable and accurate functioning of DPMCU/AMCU and associated milk collection equipment across milk collection centres through installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown support, troubleshooting, calibration coordination, vendor management and technical field support. The role will minimize equipment downtime and support uninterrupted milk collection, quality testing, data processing and farmer payment-related operations.

A. Installation & Commissioning

· Install and commission DPMCU/AMCU and allied equipment at milk collection centres.

· Ensure correct installation of weighing scale, milk analyser, printer, display, UPS and communication devices.

· Conduct functional testing and verify connectivity with central/server/cloud systems.

· Coordinate with OEMs/vendors during installation and commissioning.

· Prepare installation and commissioning reports.

B. Preventive Maintenance

· Develop and execute periodic preventive-maintenance schedules.

· Inspect DPMCU/AMCU, weighing systems, analysers, printers, displays, UPS and communication systems.

· Identify potential failures before breakdown.

· Maintain equipment-wise maintenance history.

· Coordinate calibration/verification of weighing and milk-testing equipment.

C. Breakdown Maintenance

· Attend complaints from milk collection centres and diagnose hardware, electrical, electronic, communication and basic software issues.

· Provide remote troubleshooting wherever possible and arrange field visits for unresolved issues.

· Resolve complaints within defined TAT/SLA and escalate OEM/vendor issues when required.

· Maintain breakdown and resolution records.

D. Connectivity & Data Support

· Troubleshoot GPRS/4G/Wi-Fi/LAN connectivity issues.

· Coordinate with IT/ERP/application teams for software or data-related issues.

· Monitor recurring connectivity failures and support integration with central milk procurement systems.

E. Vendor / AMC Management

· Coordinate with OEMs,



equipment manufacturers and service providers.

· Monitor AMC/CMC performance and vendor service reports.

· Track pending complaints, ageing and SLA/TAT compliance.

· Analyze repeat failures and recommend repair, replacement or upgrade.

F. Spares Management

· Identify critical field spares and maintain appropriate minimum/maximum stock levels.

· Monitor consumption of electronic/electrical spares and coordinate procurement of genuine/OEM parts.

· Maintain equipment-wise spare consumption records.

G. Team Management – DM / Manager

· Lead field engineers/technicians and allocate service calls based on priority and geography.

· Monitor daily complaint closure and team productivity.

· Conduct technical training and develop SOPs/troubleshooting guides.

H. Documentation & MIS

· Maintain equipment master database, installation records, PM records, breakdown reports, AMC/CMC details and calibration records.

· Monitor spare consumption, equipment downtime, complaint TAT, repeat failures and centre-wise equipment status.

· Prepare monthly engineering MIS and management reports.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year

Experience:
Assistant Manager : 2–5 years of relevant experience
Deputy Manager : 5–9 years of relevant experience, preferably with at least 3 years in field engineering/service operations
Manager : 8–14 years total experience, preferably 5+ years in field engineering/service management.
