# Job Opening – ITAD Procurement & Corporate IT Asset Acquisition Manager

We are expanding our business into IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and the buying and selling of used, refurbished and surplus IT equipment in India and international markets.

As part of this expansion, we are looking for someone who understands the corporate IT hardware market and knows how to approach companies that regularly replace or dispose of their old IT equipment.

## Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for an experienced person who can help us buy used IT equipment directly from large companies, MNCs, IT organizations and other corporate businesses.

Most large companies replace their laptops, desktops, servers and other IT equipment every few years. We need someone who knows how this process works, who handles these decisions within companies and how to get opportunities to purchase this equipment.

**We are not looking for someone who only purchases new IT equipment for office use.**

We need someone who can find companies selling their old IT assets, speak with the right people, negotiate prices and close procurement deals.

The person should be comfortable approaching current companies, building professional relationships and developing regular sources of IT hardware for our business.

## What Will You Be Doing?

### 1. Connecting with Corporate Companies

- Find and connect with IT Procurement Managers, IT Asset Managers, Hardware Asset Management (HAM) teams and IT Heads.

- Approach large companies, MNCs, IT firms, banks, telecom companies and other organizations.

- Understand when companies plan to replace their laptops, desktops, servers or other IT equipment.

- Stay in touch with the people responsible for selling or disposing of old IT assets.

- Build good relationships so that companies contact us whenever they have equipment available for sale.

- Develop a strong network of corporate contacts across India.

### 2. Buying Used IT Equipment from Companies

- Find opportunities to purchase used, old, surplus and decommissioned IT equipment directly from corporate organizations.

- Source laptops, desktops, workstations, servers, networking equipment, storage devices and other IT hardware.

- Get complete details of available equipment, including quantity, specifications, condition and expected price.

- Discuss and negotiate prices with companies to secure profitable deals.

- Take part in corporate tenders, RFQs, auctions and IT asset disposal programs.

- Coordinate with our team for equipment inspection, verification, pickup and delivery.

- Follow up on opportunities until the deal is completed.

### 3. Developing International Suppliers

- Find companies and suppliers outside India that sell used or surplus IT equipment in bulk.

- Connect with ITAD companies, IT leasing companies, data centres and hardware traders in the USA, UK, Europe, Middle East and other markets.

- Build relationships with international suppliers for regular IT hardware purchases.

- Understand international hardware prices and identify good buying opportunities.

- Work with our team to coordinate international procurement and shipments.

### 4. Finding New Business Opportunities

- Look for companies planning laptop replacement, office upgrades, server changes or IT infrastructure upgrades.

- Identify upcoming projects where large quantities of IT equipment may become available.

- Contact the right decision-makers and introduce our company's asset buyback services.

- Prepare offers and negotiate deals based on equipment value and market demand.

- Work with our sales team to understand which IT products are in demand.

- Focus on developing regular business rather than only one-time purchases.

### 5. Managing Contacts and Follow-Ups

- Maintain proper records of companies, contact persons and procurement opportunities.

- Keep track of upcoming IT asset disposal projects.

- Follow up regularly with existing and potential suppliers.

- Share updates on active deals, expected inventory and procurement progress.

- Work towards monthly procurement and supplier development targets.

## Companies You Should Know How to Approach

We would prefer someone who has experience dealing with one or more of the following:

- Large MNCs and corporate offices.

- IT and software companies.

- Banking and financial institutions.

- IT leasing and rental companies.

- IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) companies.

- IT hardware resellers and bulk traders.

- Data centres and cloud service providers.

- Telecom companies.

- IT infrastructure and managed service providers.

- Government organizations and public sector companies.

## What Experience Do You Need?

- 3–8 years of experience in ITAD, IT hardware procurement, corporate IT asset buying, hardware trading or a related field.

- Good knowledge of used laptops, desktops, servers and other IT equipment.

- Understanding of how companies replace, sell or dispose of their old IT assets.

- Experience dealing with corporate procurement teams, IT Asset Managers or HAM teams.

- Ability to find new corporate contacts and generate procurement opportunities independently.

- Good negotiation and communication skills.

- Basic understanding of used IT hardware market prices.

- Experience handling corporate tenders, quotations, auctions or bulk hardware deals.

- Ability to maintain professional relationships and follow up consistently.

**An existing network of corporate IT procurement contacts, IT Asset Managers or ITAD suppliers will be a strong advantage.**

Candidates with international hardware sourcing experience will also be preferred.

## How Will We Measure Your Performance?

Your performance will mainly depend on:

1. How many new corporate companies and procurement contacts you develop.

2. How many genuine IT asset buying opportunities you bring.

3. How many procurement deals you successfully close.

4. The value and profitability of the IT equipment purchased.

5. How many new companies become regular suppliers.

6. How well you maintain relationships with existing corporate contacts.

7. Your contribution towards developing international sourcing opportunities.

We value long-term business relationships, consistent results and profitable procurement deals.

## Salary & Incentives

We offer a competitive fixed salary based on your experience, industry knowledge and existing business network.

In addition, performance-based incentives will be offered for successful procurement deals and business generated.

The role offers an opportunity to work directly on the growth of our corporate IT asset acquisition and international hardware sourcing business.

## Who Would Be a Good Fit?

You would be a good fit for this role if you already know people in corporate IT procurement, IT Asset Management or ITAD departments and understand how to turn those contacts into business.

For example, if a large IT company is planning to replace 500 or 1,000 laptops, you should know how to find out about that prospect, whom to contact, how to participate in the buying process and how to negotiate a deal.

We want someone who takes initiative, follows up seriously and can build relationships that lead to regular procurement business.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year

Benefits:

- Flexible schedule

Work Location: In person
