Job Description

We are looking for a qualified, passionate and dedicated Punjabi Teacher for our school. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Punjabi language to students at the PPRT / TRT level, developing their language skills and creating an engaging and interactive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Punjabi language to students as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in Punjabi.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, classroom activities and teaching materials.
- Make learning interactive through storytelling, rhymes, poems, activities and language-based exercises.
- Develop students' vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and handwriting.
- Conduct regular assessments, class tests and evaluate students' academic progress.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.
- Provide individual attention and additional support to students wherever required.
- Maintain academic records, notebooks, assessments and student progress reports.




- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings and school activities.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Graduate / Postgraduate in Punjabi or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. / NTT or relevant teaching qualification as applicable to the position.
- Previous teaching experience in a reputed school will be preferred.
- Strong command over Punjabi language, both written and spoken.
- Valuable classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and working with young learners.

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
