Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in daily store operations, including receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and maintaining inventory of industrial valves, pipe fittings and related engineering materials. Ensure proper stock management, accurate documentation and timely material availability for production and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive incoming materials such as valves, flanges, fittings, pipes, fasteners and other engineering components.
- Verify material quantity, specifications, sizes and item codes against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Assist in physical inspection of materials and report any damage or discrepancies.
- Arrange and store materials systematically with proper identification and labeling.
- Maintain stock registers and update inventory in ERP/software or Excel.
- Issue materials to production, assembly and other departments against authorized material requisitions.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the Store In-charge about shortages.
- Assist in physical stock verification and cycle counting.
- Maintain proper storage and identification of different valve types, sizes, pressure ratings and fitting categories.
- Coordinate with purchase, production, quality and dispatch departments.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety and proper housekeeping in the store.
- Maintain all inward, outward and stock-related documents.

Candidate Requirements

- Education:



12th Pass / ITI / Diploma preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years in stores preferably in an engineering or manufacturing company.
- Basic knowledge of industrial valves, pipe fittings, flanges and engineering components.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP or inventory software).
- Knowledge of stock management and material documentation.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to identify materials based on size, type and specifications.

Working Conditions

- Job Location: Factory / Manufacturing Unit

Preferred Candidate: A disciplined and responsible candidate with experience in an engineering, valve manufacturing, pipe fitting or industrial hardware company.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
