Role Overview – Whom Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Representative with an interest in electronics, robotics, and technical products. The candidate will be responsible for generating sales opportunities, handling customer enquiries, recommending suitable products, and building long-term client relationships.

The ideal candidate should have a consultative sales approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, IndiaMART, and other platforms.
- Identify and approach potential customers, including startups, educational institutions, engineers, and corporate clients.
- Handle inbound sales enquiries and understand customer requirements.
- Recommend suitable robotics, electronics, embedded systems, and related products.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries,



and negotiate with customers to close sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Coordinate with internal technical and sales teams to provide appropriate product solutions.
- Maintain customer information, sales leads, and follow-up records in CRM.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Must-Have Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, B2B sales, or industrial product sales.
- Familiarity with IndiaMART and GEMS portal.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to understand product specifications and recommend suitable solutions.
- Result-oriented approach with strong follow-up and client relationship management skills.

Nice to Have

- Interest or knowledge in robotics, IoT, embedded systems, and electronics.
- Exposure to technical product demonstrations, exhibitions, or industry events.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Zoho CRM.
- Experience handling RFQs, quotations, and technical product documentation.
