Growth & Marketing Manager — Doora

Location: Marthandam initially, with planned expansion to Nagercoil
Work type: Full-time, on-site with regular local fieldwork
Salary: ₹25,000–35,000 per month fixed, plus performance incentives

Candidates based in Nagercoil or Marthandam are welcome. During Doora’s initial launch, this role requires regular on-site work and field promotions in Marthandam. We plan to expand to Nagercoil after establishing the Marthandam business.

About Doora and the role

Doora is preparing its hyperlocal multi-service launch in Marthandam. After establishing the initial business, we plan to expand to Nagercoil.

We’re looking for a hands-on marketer who can attract new customers, turn enquiries into completed orders, and encourage customers to order again. You’ll help establish our customer base in Marthandam and later support expansion into Nagercoil.

You will personally run digital campaigns and local promotions, working alongside our vendor manager and marketing analyst.

What you’ll do

- Set up, manage and improve Facebook and Instagram campaigns through Meta Ads Manager.
- Use WhatsApp to follow up with interested customers, convert enquiries and encourage repeat orders.
- Plan and personally execute local promotions, demonstrations, community outreach and referral activities.
- Build promotional partnerships with local businesses, residential communities, colleges and workplaces.
- Write clear Tamil promotional messages and coordinate campaign creatives.
- Test offers, audiences and promotional channels to identify what generates paying customers.
- Track campaign spending,



customer acquisition costs, completed orders and repeat orders.
- Coordinate with the vendor manager on offers and service availability.
- Work with the marketing analyst to review results and improve campaign performance.
- Apply lessons from the Marthandam launch to support planned expansion into Nagercoil.

Who we’re looking for

- Practical experience in customer acquisition, digital marketing or local sales and promotions.
- Experience personally setting up and managing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager.
- Confidence communicating with local customers and business owners in Tamil.
- Ability to write simple, effective Tamil promotional copy.
- Comfort with both digital campaign work and regular field activities.
- Ability to explain previous campaign results using actual spending, leads, conversions or sales figures.
- Willingness to execute independently and work closely with a small launch team.

Experience with WhatsApp campaigns, retail, delivery services, local consumer businesses or marketplaces is an advantage. Familiarity with Marthandam and Nagercoil markets is helpful.

Compensation





₹25,000–35,000 fixed per month, depending on relevant skills and experience, plus performance incentives. Incentive measures and targets will be discussed and agreed before joining.
