JOB DESCRIPTION – FASHION DESIGNER

Location: Kozhikode / Nadapuram / Perinthalmanna, Kerala

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and fashion-oriented Fashion Designer who can interact with customers, understand their preferences, provide styling suggestions, and help customers choose the right products.

The role mainly focuses on customer relationships, product knowledge, fashion consultation, and understanding local market trends to support better product selection and sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Interaction & Relationship

- Welcome and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Understand customer needs, preferences, and styling requirements.
- Provide product recommendations and styling suggestions.
- Explain product features, fabric details, colours, designs, and styling possibilities.
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.
- Collect customer feedback and understand their expectations.

2. Product Knowledge & Fashion Consultation

- Develop a robust understanding of available collections and products.
- Help customers select suitable outfits based on their preferences and occasions.
- Suggest matching styles and product combinations.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends and styling ideas.

3. Market & Trend Analysis

- Identify fast-moving products and popular designs.
- Understand local customer preferences and area-specific fashion trends.
- Observe which colours, patterns, fabrics, and styles are in demand.




- Share insights on which designs and product categories should be introduced in future collections.
- Monitor competitor products and market trends.

4. Store & Sales Coordination

- Coordinate with the Store In-charge regarding customer requirements and product availability.
- Support product display and presentation when required.
- Identify customer enquiries for unavailable products and communicate the feedback to management.
- Assist in maintaining a positive shopping experience.

Requirements

- Degree or Diploma in Fashion Designing or a related field.
- Good knowledge of fashion, fabrics, colours, and styling.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Good understanding of current fashion trends.
- Creative thinking and an interest in fashion retail.
- Ability to understand customer preferences and recommend suitable products.
- Freshers with good fashion knowledge and communication skills may also apply.

- Knowledge of Indian ethnic wear and contemporary fashion.

Reporting To: Store In-charge / Management

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
