Hiring: General Manager – Business & Operations

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager – Business & Operations to lead and manage overall business operations at an Ayurvedic mother and baby care brand.

The ideal candidate should have solid sales leadership experience, business management skills and the ability to oversee multiple departments while driving business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee overall business operations, including Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance Coordination, Customer Service and Operations.

- Lead sales teams and drive revenue growth across D2C, e-commerce, marketplaces and branch operations.

- Develop business strategies, set targets and monitor departmental performance.

- Improve sales conversions, customer retention and overall business profitability.

- Monitor marketing campaigns, budgets and return on investment.

- Manage inventory, supply chain, logistics and operational processes.

- Develop and implement SOPs to improve efficiency and accountability.

- Coordinate with department heads, review KPIs and ensure target achievement.

- Monitor budgets,



business performance, MIS reports and P&L.;

- Work closely with the Founder/Managing Director on business planning and execution.

Requirements

- MBA/PGDM in Business Management, Sales or Marketing preferred.

- 8–15 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.

- Strong experience in sales management, team leadership and revenue generation.

- Experience handling multiple departments and business operations.

- Knowledge of D2C, e-commerce and digital sales channels.

- Experience in Ayurveda, Wellness, Beauty, Skincare, Personal Care or Mother & Baby Care industries will be an added advantage.

- Strong leadership, communication, analytical and decision-making skills.

- Proficiency in English and Malayalam preferred.
