Job Description – Store Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Manager to manage daily store operations, inventory, stock management, sales and purchase activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring timely availability of products and coordinating with the sales, purchase and dispatch teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Inventory & Stock Management

- Maintain and monitor daily stock inventory.
- Ensure proper inward and outward stock entries.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and avoid overstocking or stock shortages.
- Purchase & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely material procurement.
- Prepare purchase requests and maintain purchase records.
- Verify purchase invoices, delivery challans and received quantities.
- Follow up with vendors regarding pending orders and deliveries.
- Sales & Dispatch Coordination
- Coordinate with the sales team for product availability.
- Maintain sales and stock-out records.
- Ensure timely picking, packing and dispatch of products.




- Verify materials before dispatch and maintain dispatch records.
- Store Operations
- Ensure proper storage, labelling and organisation of products.
- Maintain records of damaged, returned and defective stock.
- Ensure proper utilisation of store space.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and discipline in the warehouse/store.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly stock reports.
- Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), stock registers and purchase records.
- Prepare stock movement and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for purchase and stock reconciliation.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Understanding of purchase, sales and dispatch processes.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management software.
- Solid coordination and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to manage stock discrepancies and maintain accurate documentation.
- Good communication and team management skills.

Preferred Candidate

- 2–4 years of experience in store management, inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Experience in automobile, automotive accessories, batteries, lubricants or electrical products will be preferred.
- Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
