About Staybook.in

Staybook.in is a travel technology platform helping customers discover and book hotels, attraction tickets and travel experiences. We’re looking for Full Stack Developers with a strong focus on Python and FastAPI to build and improve our booking platforms, supplier integrations and internal tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Build responsive frontend interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React or Next.js.
- Integrate third-party APIs for hotel inventory, pricing, availability, attraction tickets and payments.
- Design and manage databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB.
- Implement request validation, authentication, authorisation and error handling.
- Build reliable booking workflows, including webhooks, background tasks and booking status updates.
- Improve API performance and troubleshoot application issues.
- Write maintainable code, automated tests and API documentation.
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to deliver features from development through deployment.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of Python programming and FastAPI.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes and JSON.
- Familiarity with Pydantic, data validation and Python type hints.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming using async/await.




- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and a modern frontend framework.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, database design and an ORM such as SQLAlchemy.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with React, Next.js or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Alembic migrations, Redis and background task queues.
- Knowledge of Docker, Linux, CI/CD and cloud deployment.
- Experience with payment gateways, webhooks or travel supplier APIs.
- Understanding of API security, logging and monitoring.

Eligibility

Full-time applicants: Candidates with hands-on Python and FastAPI development experience. Fresh graduates with strong projects are also welcome to apply.

Internship applicants: Students or recent graduates with Python fundamentals and relevant projects. Basic knowledge of FastAPI, databases and frontend development is expected.

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred. Relevant practical skills and project experience will also be considered.
