Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure a clean, hygienic, and well-maintained hospital environment. The candidate will be responsible for managing housekeeping staff, monitoring cleanliness standards, and ensuring compliance with hospital infection control and hygiene protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across all hospital departments.
- Manage housekeeping staff, including duty allocation, shift scheduling, attendance, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in OP, IP, ICU, Emergency, OT, corridors, washrooms, and other hospital areas.
- Monitor cleaning procedures and ensure compliance with hospital infection control protocols.
- Ensure proper usage, storage, and handling of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular cleanliness inspections and maintain housekeeping checklists.
- Train housekeeping staff on cleaning methods, hygiene practices, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the Nursing,



Infection Control, and Maintenance departments.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and maintain stock records.
- Handle housekeeping-related complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain daily reports, attendance records, and departmental documentation.
- Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal practices in coordination with the concerned department.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Any Degree / Diploma is preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in housekeeping supervision.
- Hospital housekeeping experience is highly preferred.
- Good team management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of hospital hygiene, infection control, and cleaning protocols.
- Ability to manage staff and handle daily operational responsibilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and reporting skills.
