Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Head with a strong background in the manufacturing industry, particularly in sheet metal, automotive components, and raw material procurement. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete procurement function, vendor development, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials for multiple product lines.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for multiple product categories.
- Manage procurement of Sheet Metal, Raw Materials (RM), Steel, MS Sheets, and Automotive Components.
- Handle end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing, negotiation, purchase orders, and material delivery.
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Identify new vendors and conduct vendor audits and performance evaluations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms,



and commercial agreements to achieve cost savings.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials as per production and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Finance departments.
- Monitor market trends, material prices, and supplier performance.
- Maintain proper procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Lead and manage the purchase team.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience in Sheet Metal and Automotive Components Manufacturing.
- Excellent knowledge of Raw Material (RM) procurement and multiple product categories.
- Good understanding of steel grades, metal sheets, and manufacturing materials.
- Expertise in vendor development, supplier management, and price negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and material planning.
- Experience in strategic sourcing and cost reduction.
- Positive leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹87,000.00 per month
