Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Accounts Manager with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting knowledge, financial management skills, and the ability to handle day-to-day accounting operations independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgetary requirements.
- Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, and reconciliation.
- Handle bank reconciliations and vendor/customer account reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding payments and receivables.
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and accounting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams for financial planning and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and financial procedures.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or any relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Good analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage accounting operations efficiently.
Industry Preference
Candidates with hands-on experience in FMCG, distribution, trading, or inventory-driven businesses will be preferred.
