Job Description – BMS Technician (Diploma / ITI)

Position: BMS TechnicianQualification: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Mechanical EngineeringExperience: 0–3 Years (Freshers with relevant technical knowledge can also apply)

Job Summary:

We are looking for ITI/Diploma-qualified BMS Technicians to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and operation of Building Management Systems (BMS) at project and site locations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain and troubleshoot BMS equipment, control panels and field devices.
- Work on HVAC control systems, AHUs, FCUs, chillers and ventilation systems.
- Handle sensors, actuators, controllers, thermostats and control valves.
- Assist in BMS panel wiring, cable termination, testing and commissioning.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of BMS systems.
- Monitor and operate BMS software for building automation and system control.
- Identify faults in electrical and control circuits and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams for smooth execution.




- Maintain daily site reports and equipment maintenance records.

Technical Skills Required:

- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits.
- Understanding of HVAC and building automation systems.
- Knowledge of control wiring, cable dressing and termination.
- Familiarity with sensors, relays, controllers and actuators.
- Basic understanding of BMS protocols such as BACnet and Modbus will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate:

- ITI / Diploma holders in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Mechanical.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in BMS installation, operation or maintenance will be preferred.
- Willingness to work at project sites and undertake troubleshooting activities.
