Job Description – Billing Executive

Experience: Minimum 1 Year Department: Billing Industry: Hospital / Healthcare Location: Apaxis Hospitals, Kolathur, Chennai

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Billing Executive with a minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital billing operations. The candidate should be responsible for handling OP and IP billing, generating invoices, processing payments, maintaining billing records, and ensuring accurate and timely billing services for patients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Handle Outpatient (OP) and Inpatient (IP) billing activities.
- Generate accurate bills, invoices, and receipts.
- Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions.
- Verify patient details, consultation charges, and service entries.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for billing-related queries.




- Handle discharge billing and final bill preparation.
- Maintain daily billing reports and cash collection records.
- Ensure accuracy in billing and follow hospital billing procedures.
- Assist patients with billing-related queries and provide skilled support.

- Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital billing.
- Knowledge of OP and IP billing procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge and MS Excel skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.

Pay: From ₹16,000.00 per month
