Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Jira Developer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Jira administration, customization, configuration, and development. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, automation, scripting, and integrations. The candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing Jira applications to support business and project management requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Configure, customize, and maintain Jira projects, workflows, screens, schemes, issue types, and custom fields.
- Develop and manage Jira workflows, workflow conditions, validators, and post functions.
- Create and maintain Jira automation rules to streamline business processes.
- Develop custom scripts using Groovy and ScriptRunner.
- Manage Jira dashboards, filters, reports, and boards.
- Configure Jira user permissions, roles, groups, and access controls.
- Integrate Jira with third-party applications using REST APIs.
- Work on Jira integrations with Confluence, Bitbucket, and other development tools.
- Troubleshoot Jira-related issues and provide technical support.
- Perform Jira upgrades, plugin installations, and application maintenance.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve Jira processes and workflows.




- Maintain technical documentation and follow established best practices.

Mandatory Skills

- 3 to 5 years of experience in Jira Development and Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira configuration and customization.
- Experience in Jira workflows, schemes, screens, and custom fields.
- Knowledge of Groovy scripting and ScriptRunner.
- Experience with Jira Automation.
- Knowledge of REST API integrations.
- Experience in Jira dashboards, filters, and reporting.
- Understanding of Jira permissions, roles, and access management.
- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have Skills

- Experience with Jira Service Management (JSM).
- Knowledge of Confluence administration.
- Experience with Bitbucket and CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Jira Cloud and Jira Data Center.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
