Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hardworking Pantry Assistant who can independently handle parcel orders, fresh juices, salads, Coffee, Tea and other pantry-related food preparation activities in a busy vegetarian restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

1. Parcel & Packing Operations

- Prepare and pack takeaway and delivery orders accurately.
- Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and hygienic packaging.
- Check orders before handing them over to delivery personnel.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely parcel preparation.

2. Juice Preparation

- Prepare fresh fruit juices, milkshakes, and other beverages.
- Handle fruit cutting, cleaning, and preparation.
- Maintain freshness, taste, and consistent quality.
- Ensure juice machines and equipment are properly cleaned.

3. Salad Preparation

- Prepare fresh vegetable and fruit salads.
- Handle cutting, chopping, mixing, and garnishing.
- Prepare salad dressings and maintain consistent presentation.
- Ensure proper storage and freshness of ingredients.

4. Kitchen Hygiene & Operations

- Maintain cleanliness of the pantry and workstations.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor pantry stock and inform supervisors about shortages.




- Minimise food wastage and maintain proper storage practices.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen.
- Experience in parcel packing, fresh juice preparation, and salad making.
- Should be able to work independently in a busy restaurant.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and protected food handling.
- Hardworking, disciplined, and able to work in a team.
- Experience in a vegetarian restaurant will be an advantage.
- Preference must speak Hindi, English. Preference will be given to Tamil Speaking candidates but not a must
