Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead strategic initiatives in Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and data archiving within the IT Services sector. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will oversee the full spectrum of data retention strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while optimizing storage efficiency for complex enterprise environments. This position demands a deep understanding of SAP ecosystems and cloud storage solutions to drive seamless data migration, retention policy enforcement, and system modernization efforts, ultimately safeguarding organizational data integrity and operational continuity.

Responsibilities

- Architect and execute comprehensive ILM strategies utilizing cloud storage platforms such as AWS S3 and Azure Blob to manage long-term data retention.

- Deploy and configure enterprise-grade archive solutions, including Open Text, IBM, and KGS, to handle massive data volumes efficiently.

- Facilitate the collection of business requirements and maintain robust communication channels with key stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational goals.

- Lead the end-to-end testing, deployment, and cutover phases for archiving projects to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

- Implement GDPR-compliant ILM snapshots and establish secure retention warehouses to meet strict data privacy and legal obligations.





- Manage the complete lifecycle of SAP archiving and ILM processes, ensuring alignment with current SAP standards and best practices.

- Oversee retention management protocols and execute system decommissioning activities in a controlled and secure manner.

- Drive the implementation of end-to-end SAP archiving solutions across both ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.

Requirements Requirements:

- Possess 8 to 15 years of professional experience within the IT Services industry, with a specialized focus on SAP data management.

- Demonstrate proven expertise in managing data storage within AWS S3 and Azure Blob environments.

- Show hands-on proficiency with major archive solutions including Open Text, IBM, and KGS.

- Exhibit robust capabilities in gathering business requirements and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

- Have a track record of successfully leading archiving testing, deployment, and cutover activities.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GDPR regulations regarding ILM snapshots and retention warehousing.

- Possess deep technical knowledge of SAP Archiving and SAP ILM modules.

- Be skilled in ILM retention management and the execution of system decommissioning projects.

- Have extensive experience in delivering end-to-end SAP archiving implementations.

- Demonstrate familiarity with archiving processes specific to SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems.
