Sales Manager – Packrite Industries Pvt. Ltd. (Kolkata) About Packrite Industries Packrite Industries Pvt. Ltd. is a Kolkata-based flexographic printing and converting company, part of the Ganpati Group, a business with roots going back to 1952. We print and convert flexible packaging, labels and specialty materials for customers in tea, FMCG, personal care and allied industries, and we are expanding our reach across India and international markets, including Sri Lanka through our subsidiary. We focus on quality, long-term partnerships and customer-centric service. Role Overview This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Sales Manager will own and grow Packrite's sales operations, build deep relationships with key customers, and open new business in the packaging, printing and converting sectors. You will work closely with the Chairman and Managing Director and the operations team, and will be a key part of Packrite's growth plan.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies and targets for flexo printing and converting, covering both existing and new accounts
- Manage the sales pipeline from enquiry to order, including sampling, trials and repeat business
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals; negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines
- Coordinate with production, planning, procurement and logistics to ensure accurate quotations, schedule adherence and on-time delivery
- Maintain and grow key accounts, resolving quality and service issues promptly
- Track market trends, pricing and competitor activity, and convert insights into business development initiatives




- Prepare regular sales forecasts, MIS and performance reports
- Ensure timely follow-up on receivables in coordination with accounts
- Mentor and guide sales team members
- Represent the company at customer visits, industry meetings and exhibitions Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a sales leadership or senior sales role in adaptable packaging, printing, converting, labels or paper and packaging materials
- Solid skills in sales planning, account management and pipeline management, with a record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation and communication skills
- Good understanding of flexo printing processes, substrates, laminates, cost structures and job costing is highly beneficial
- Ability to analyse market data, pricing and competitor activity to guide sales strategy
- Comfortable with CRM tools, spreadsheets and basic business software for tracking and reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Existing relationships with packaging buyers in Eastern India are a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel for client visits as required
