Role Description The Polarion Developer is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Chennai Area. This role focuses on designing, configuring, and customizing Polarion ALM solutions to support requirement management, test management, and workflow automation. The developer will implement and maintain Polarion projects, create and optimize work item types, fields, workflows, and permissions, and integrate Polarion with other enterprise tools and systems. Day-to-day activities include analyzing business needs, translating them into Polarion configurations, developing scripts and extensions, creating reports and dashboards, and ensuring system performance, reliability, and data integrity. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams,



providing user support and training, documenting technical configurations, and participating in continuous improvement of ALM processes. Qualifications
• Strong experience with Polarion ALM configuration and customization, including project setup, work item management, and workflow design.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Java, JavaScript, or similar languages) for Polarion extensions, automation, and integrations.
• Knowledge of ALM, SDLC, and DevOps practices, including requirements management, test management, and traceability.
• Experience integrating Polarion with other enterprise tools (e.g., version control systems, CI/CD tools, issue trackers, or ERP/CRM platforms).
• Familiarity with XML, REST APIs, and database concepts for configuration, reporting, and data exchange.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business and engineering needs into technical solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional, multi-location teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in enterprise IT environments or engineering organizations is an advantage; prior exposure to CAD or PLM systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in office in the Greater Chennai Area and manage multiple tasks with attention to quality
