ABOUT THE ROLE
Atlas Engineering & Inspection Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Finance Shared Services Lead with strong U.
S. accounting knowledge, CA-level accounting judgment and advanced hands-on QuickBooks proficiency to support finance operations for our client in the United States. This is a functional and hands-on role, not a basic bookkeeping position. You will manage reconciliations, support billing and collections, support payroll accounting, prepare financial reports and use QuickBooks as an analytics and reporting tool – working closely with U.
S.-based clients, internal teams and leadership to convert accounting data into transparent financial insights. WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Use QuickBooks for accounting, reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis; review transactions for correct classification, coding and documentation.
• Generate and analyze P&L;, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, General Ledger, AR/AP aging, customer, vendor, project and cash-flow reports.
• Perform and review bank, credit card, AR, AP, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations, keeping clean files with proper backup and audit trail.
• Review invoices against approved rates, contracts, timesheets and work orders; track payments, short payments, credits and disputes; maintain AR aging and follow-ups.
• Manage vendor bills,



expense entries and vendor ledgers; support payment planning, vendor reconciliations and AP aging review.
• Support bi-weekly U.
S. payroll accounting: validate hours, overtime, PTO, adjustments, bonuses and reimbursements, and reconcile payroll entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, variance analyses, dashboards and management packs, including profit/loss by business unit, project or client.
• Support month-, quarter
- and year-end close with schedules, reconciliations and journal entries; coordinate with the CPA, auditors and tax advisors and prepare audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate with U.
S.-based clients and internal teams on billing, payment status, reconciliations and accounting queries.
• Identify control gaps, reporting weaknesses and process risks, and escalate discrepancies with clear facts and supporting documentation. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experience
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, AR, AP, payroll accounting and finance operations.
• Prior experience with U.
S. accounting, U.
S. payroll, invoicing, audit or client finance operations is preferred. Essential skills
• Advanced hands-on QuickBooks proficiency for reporting, reconciliations, financial analysis, variance review and audit support.




• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, internal controls and audit documentation.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Strong financial analysis and variance review ability.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to coordinate with U.
S.-based clients and teams.
• High attention to detail, ownership, deadline discipline and confidentiality with financial, payroll and client information. Good to have
• Experience with Paychex Payroll or similar U.
S. payroll systems (major plus).
• Timesheet-based invoicing, project-based accounting, or construction, engineering or professional services billing.
