Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Manager role based at the manufacturing plant in Jejuri. The Production Manager will oversee daily plant operations, including planning and scheduling production, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality parameters, and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include supervising production teams, optimizing use of machinery and raw materials, monitoring process performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves coordinating with quality control, maintenance, supply chain, and management to meet output targets, reduce downtime, and maintain accurate production records.



The Production Manager will also support troubleshooting of process issues, training staff on standard operating procedures, and contributing to cost-effective, efficient manufacturing practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Strong production management skills, including planning, scheduling, and oversight of batch and continuous processes in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations, with experience implementing SOPs, risk assessments, and safe work practices in a plant setting.
• Experience collaborating with quality control and maintenance teams, with familiarity in basic troubleshooting of equipment and process deviations.
• Proficiency in data-driven decision making, including monitoring KPIs, preparing production reports, and using basic MS Office or ERP tools.
• Proven people management abilities, including supervising teams, delegating tasks, and supporting training and performance development.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; prior experience in chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work on-site in Jejuri and coordinate with multiple offices and stakeholders.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization methodologies will be an advantage.
