About the role
Skedara is seeking an experienced Endur Developer to join a strategic ETRM programme. You will work on an Endur platform across the full development lifecycle, from design and build through implementation and long-term support. You’ll collaborate with business SMEs, architects and senior Endur specialists to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions for a global energy-trading organisation, while deepening your Endur and commodity-domain expertise.

Key responsibilities
• Solution development: Work across scoping, analysis, development, testing, deployment and UAT, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Endur engineering: Develop and enhance Endur functionality using Core Java, JVS and Open Components (OC).
• Requirements and production support: Work with Business Analysts to refine requirements, and diagnose and troubleshoot production issues affecting critical trading applications.
• Engineering leadership: Mentor junior developers and contribute to a strong engineering culture and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder collaboration:



Maintain strong business and IT stakeholder relationships with transparency and clear expectation management throughout delivery. Required skills
• 10+ years of total IT development experience, including hands-on OpenLink Endur development
• Solid energy-trading domain expertise, preferably European Gas markets: balancing, scheduling, capacity, transportation, pricing, positions, P&L; and exposure management
• Understanding of OTC forwards, swaps, swing deals, storage, simple options, and exchange-traded futures/options lifecycles including cascading
• Proficiency in Core Java, design patterns, SOLID principles, JUnit and TDD
• Good SQL, database-interaction and debugging skills
• Experience delivering across the full SDLC in Agile environments
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills Good to have
• Exposure to Azure Cloud and GitHub CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with other ETRM/CTRM systems
• Experience with Endur JVS and Open Components
• Broader front-, middle
- and back-office commodity/energy trading knowledge
• Cloud-native or containerised solution development
• Experience with greenfield ETRM implementations and DevOps/pipeline automation What we look for
