Experience:
3–5 Years Department: Engineering We’re looking for an AI Database Developer with strong Snowflake and database engineering experience, along with hands-on exposure to building and supporting AI/GenAI workloads in production. If you enjoy working at the intersection of data engineering, vector search, and AI-powered applications, this could be a great opportunity What You’ll Work On Design and optimize database architecture, schemas, views, and data retrieval mechanisms, primarily using Snowflake. Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Energetic Tables, dbt, or Airflow. Develop vector database and hybrid search solutions using embeddings, chunking, and retrieval optimization. Build AI agents, skills, semantic views, and tool integrations with LLM APIs. Work with structured and unstructured data, including documents, text, and logs. Evaluate retrieval and AI response quality through testing, accuracy metrics, and regression checks. Optimize SQL queries, database performance, compute, and storage costs. Implement enterprise security, RBAC, row-level security, audit logging, and tenant isolation.



Must-Have Skills 3–5 years of database development, data warehousing, or data infrastructure experience. Strong hands-on Snowflake experience. 1–2+ years supporting AI/GenAI workloads in production. Advanced SQL, query optimization, and database performance tuning. Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, or Qdrant. Knowledge of hybrid search, embeddings, chunking strategies, and retrieval quality tuning. Hands-on experience with AI agents, semantic views, and LLM API integrations. Strong Python skills for data pipelines and automation. Experience with dbt, Airflow, or Snowflake Streams, Tasks, and Dynamic Tables. Git, Docker, database migrations, and automated testing. Familiarity with AI coding assistants, especially Claude Code within VS Code. Positive to Have Snowflake Cortex (Search, Analyst, Agents) Model Context Protocol (MCP) server development Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy AWS, GCP, or Azure Databricks and LLM observability/evaluation tools Experience in financial services or regulated environments

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
