10:00 AM – 8:00 PM Role Overview Genpact is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture and engineering of a scalable, secure, Java-based and AI-enabled insurance broking platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Python, Azure AI Services, Microsoft Agent Framework, and Java-based microservices architecture. This role will involve designing and implementing multi-agent AI solutions using Microsoft's Agent Framework, migrating workflows from Semantic Kernel, and building enterprise-grade cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. Candidates should have 16+ years of overall experience, including 4+ years in an Architect-level role, with deep hands-on coding and technical leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end architecture and technical design for AI-enabled, cloud-native enterprise platforms.
• Design and implement multi-agent AI workflows using Microsoft Agent Framework and Python.
• Lead migration from Semantic Kernel to Microsoft Agent Framework.
• Define scalable architectures using microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven design patterns.
• Drive AI/ML integration using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and other Azure AI services.
• Lead hands-on development, code reviews, architecture decisions, and engineering best practices.
• Establish security-by-design, data privacy, scalability, availability, and performance standards.
• Drive CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.




• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Leaders, and Enterprise Architects.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize platform performance. Mandatory Technical Skills 1. Python & AI Engineering (Primary Requirement)
• Strong hands-on Python development experience.
• FastAPI, Pandas, async/await, and Azure SDK for Python.
• Multi-agent development using Microsoft Agent Framework.
• Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry integration.
• Experience with agentic AI workflows and LLM-based applications. 2. Microsoft Azure & AI Services
• Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry.
• Azure AI Search, RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
• Azure AI Translator and Azure AI Content Understanding.
• Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, RBAC, and Key Vault.
• Azure Storage, networking, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights. 3. Java & Backend Architecture
• Strong hands-on Java 11/17 development.
• Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, and microservices.
• JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, and enterprise integration architecture. 4. Cloud-Native & DevOps
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Application monitoring, observability, and performance tuning.



5. Enterprise Integrations
• REST API and OpenAPI integration experience.
• Integration with enterprise platforms such as AIM API, ImageRight, carrier portals, and Cora Sequence.
• OAuth2, authentication, and managed identity patterns. Good to Have
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Content Understanding, including document extraction schemas, classifier configuration, and confidence scoring.
• Kafka / RabbitMQ and event-driven architecture.
• MLOps and Azure Database for PostgreSQL.
• Drools or externalized rules engines.
• OKTA, SSO, and OAuth2 architecture.
• Azure Container Registry (ACR) and AKS deployment pipelines.
• Exposure to AWS or GCP (optional; Azure is mandatory). Ideal Candidate Profile
• 16+ years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of experience in an Architect-level role.
• Strong hands-on Python expertise is mandatory and should be the primary coding strength.
• Robust Java and enterprise microservices architecture experience.
• Proven experience designing and delivering AI-enabled solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Microsoft Agent Framework and multi-agent AI architecture.
• Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Important: Azure is the mandatory cloud platform. AWS/GCP exposure is optional.
