Key responsibilities

1. Design and maintain cloud networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs, peering, Private Link / private endpoints).
2. Operate secure file transfer (SFTP) and storage landing paths, including cert and key lifecycle.
3. Own IaC (Bicep / Terraform) and promotion for apps, APIs, functions, messaging, and related cloud services.
4. Hardening: identity (Entra ID), managed identity, Key Vault, least privilege, and network isolation. nb
5. Run observability: metrics, logs, traces, alerts, runbooks, incident response, and post-mortems.
6. Keep app and data-platform deployments aligned (connectivity, storage firewalls, CI gates).
7. Drive capacity, cost (FinOps), and deployment safety with engineering teams.

Must-have experience

1.



10+ years SRE / cloud platform; production Azure ownership.
2. Deep VNet / hybrid connectivity and Private Link experience.
3. Hands-on SFTP or secure file-transfer ops in regulated estates.
4. IaC fluency (Bicep/Terraform) and GitOps-style change control.
5. Solid container apps / App Service / Functions, DNS, TLS, and monitoring.

Nice to have

1. Databricks workspace networking and storage firewall patterns.
2. Front Door / WAF in front of public entry apps.
3. Zero-trust / Conditional Access collaboration with security.
