Title: Keyboard and Piano Teacher Type: Part Time

- 4:00 PM Primary Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging keyboard lessons to students, focusing on developing their musical knowledge, technical proficiency, and practical playing skills.
• Follow the prescribed curriculum and structure lessons progressively, covering music theory, keyboard techniques, rhythm, scales, chords, and musical compositions.
• Prepare and mentor students for musical showcases, stage performances, competitions, and other cultural events, ensuring they develop confidence and stage presence.
• Maintain an interactive and encouraging learning environment, ensure active student participation, and motivate students to practise consistently. Required Skills & Competencies




• Proficiency in playing the keyboard, with a robust understanding of music theory and practical techniques.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills to teach students across different age groups.
• Ability to design engaging, structured, and progressive lesson plans.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and engage students.
• Creativity and the ability to prepare students for stage performances, competitions, and musical showcases. Additional Notes
• This position requires a minimum commitment of six months, commencing in November 2026 and concluding in April 2027.
• The students belong to the pre-primary and primary school.
