Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager
- Production
- to lead the manufacturing operations of Corrugating Rolls, ensuring achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity (SQDCP) targets. The role involves managing end-to-end production processes including machining, welding, grinding, coating, finishing, and quality control while driving operational excellence, process improvements, and team development.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily production operations to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Cost, EBITDA, and profitability objectives.




• Oversee the complete manufacturing process including stripping, turning, CNC machining, welding, grinding, sandblasting, tungsten carbide coating, polishing, and final inspection.
• Ensure production planning, resource optimization, machine utilization, and on-time delivery commitments.
• Lead production teams through effective training, coaching, performance management, and cross-skilling initiatives.
• Drive TPM, Autonomous Maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement programs.
• Monitor critical process parameters, especially in grinding and coating operations, ensuring consistent product quality and process capability.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and problem-solving activities to eliminate recurring issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, quality systems, EHS policies, and statutory requirements.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and machine uptime in collaboration with maintenance teams.
• Utilize ERP systems, digital production data, and KPI dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Suppliers,



and Global Teams to ensure smooth operations and implementation of best practices.
• Analyze manufacturing KPIs and drive initiatives for productivity improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence. Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 9-10 years of experience in production/manufacturing management, preferably in precision machining, grinding, coating, or heavy engineering industries.
• Strong expertise in CNC machining, welding, grinding, tungsten carbide coatings, and production process optimization.
• Experience in ISO-compliant manufacturing environments, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and ERP systems.
• Exposure to global manufacturing practices will be an added advantage. Key Competencies
