About the Role
The Engineer Level 2 will execute advanced installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system optimization for semiconductor manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision. The role also involves mentoring Level 1 engineers and providing advanced troubleshooting expertise to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on semiconductor equipment and systems.
• Install, configure, and optimise semiconductor manufacturing systems to meet performance specifications.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections for complex equipment configurations.
• Collaborate with customers to train their staff on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and basic service procedures.
• Lead l service activities for assigned small projects, including modifications, parts management,



tool calibration and manage timelines for successful completion.
• Provide technical support directly and escalate issues to senior engineers or internal engineering teams as necessary.
• Mentor and train junior engineers on equipment, diagnostics, and service processes.
• Support root-cause analysis for recurring faults and contribute to corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Maintain accurate service records and prepare detailed service reports, including findings, actions taken, and recommendations.
• In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes and how they affect customer output.
• Confident use of TEL systems and processes (e.g., IPDB, TELCUSTOMER.
COM, Merit).
