About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Workday technical consultant to design, build and support integrations and Workday Extend applications for global HR, Payroll and Benefits clients. You’ll own solutions from requirements through deployment and ongoing support, working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Integrations
• Design, develop and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB (inbound and outbound), Core Connectors and Workday Orchestrate.
• Build and support payroll interfaces using PECI and PICOF for third-party payroll providers.
• Develop and maintain Benefit Connectors for Open Enrollment, Life Events and carrier feeds.
• Integrate Workday with third-party and enterprise systems using REST and SOAP web services. Workday Extend
• Design, build and deploy Workday Extend applications for complex business requirements that standard Workday doesn’t cover.
• Integrate Extend applications with Workday business processes, custom reports, Orchestrate and external systems.
• Make sure Extend applications are secure, scalable and well-performing, and manage them across the full application lifecycle. Support and Operations
• Monitor scheduled integrations, carry out regular integration audits, and fix failures, data discrepancies and performance issues.
• Support Workday bi-annual releases, including impact assessment, regression testing and validation.



Stakeholder Engagement and Documentation
• Work with HR, Payroll, Benefits and business stakeholders to gather requirements and turn them into scalable technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical design documents, deployment guides and operational runbooks. What You Need (Required Qualifications)
• 8+ years of IT or consulting experience, including 6+ years of hands-on Workday technical work.
• Proven expertise designing complex integrations in Workday Studio.
• Strong hands-on experience with EIB, Core Connectors, PECI and PICOF, and Benefit Connectors.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Orchestrate.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying Workday Extend applications, including business objects, the security model, orchestrations and application lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in XSLT, XPath, XML and JSON.
• Strong working knowledge of Workday Web Services (REST and SOAP) and the Workday data model.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Positive to Have (Preferred Qualifications)
• Workday Integrations and/or Workday Extend certification.
• Client-facing consulting experience on global HR, Payroll or Benefits implementations.
• Experience with Agile delivery.
