Role Description The Housekeeping Public Area Associate is a full-time, on-site role based at Hotel Centre Point in Nagpur. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards in all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, banquet pre-function spaces, and restaurant surroundings. Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing surfaces, replenishing supplies, and handling basic laundry-related duties for public area linens. The associate responds promptly to guest requests, reports maintenance issues, follows safety and sanitation procedures,



and coordinates with housekeeping and front office teams to ensure a welcoming environment. The role may also support event set-up in public areas and assist with periodic deep cleaning tasks as directed by the housekeeping supervisor. Qualifications
• Demonstrated skills in Laundry and basic linen care for public areas.
• Robust Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Good Organization Skills to manage tasks, prioritize cleaning schedules, and maintain supply inventory.
• Ability to participate in and benefit from Training related to housekeeping standards, safety, and hygiene.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality, especially in public areas, is an advantage.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderately heavy items for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort.
• Basic understanding of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety protocols.
