Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership & Strategy
· Provide strategic leadership for the Computer Science department/school.
· Drive academic excellence through innovative teaching methodologies and curriculum development.
· Lead academic planning, implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Ensure alignment of academic programmes with emerging technology trends and industry requirements.
· Mentor faculty members and strengthen the overall academic ecosystem. Research & Innovation
· Promote high-quality research, publications and interdisciplinary research initiatives.
· Encourage faculty and students to undertake funded research projects.
· Drive innovation, patents, consultancy projects and technology development.
· Establish research collaborations with national and international institutions.



Industry Collaboration & Engagement
· Develop strategic partnerships with leading IT companies, technology organizations and research institutions.
· Strengthen industry-academia collaboration through internships, live projects and industry-sponsored programmes.
· Facilitate industry interactions, technical workshops, seminars and conferences.
· Enhance students' employability through industry-relevant academic initiatives. Faculty & Team Management
· Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing faculty team.
· Participate in faculty recruitment, performance evaluation and career development.
· Establish a culture of accountability, innovation and academic excellence.
· Guide faculty members in research, publications and academic contributions. Institutional Development
· Drive accreditation, ranking and quality enhancement initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and academic standards.
· Monitor academic performance, student outcomes and departmental KPIs.
· Contribute to institutional strategic planning and overall university development. 3. Desired Candidate Profile
· Ph.
D. in Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering




· 12–24 years of relevant academic and/or industry experience.
· Significant leadership experience in Computer Science, Engineering or Technology institutions.
· Strong understanding of academic administration, curriculum development and institutional management.
· Demonstrated research credentials with quality publications, patents or funded projects.
· Excellent leadership, communication, strategic planning and decision-making abilities.
· Experience in managing large academic teams and driving institutional transformation. 4. Preferred Technical Expertise Candidates with exposure to emerging technology areas will be preferred:
